Vikshut Mundkur has a background in Engineering, has worked with Infosys Software, Infosys Green Initiatives, Selco Solar and with various NGOs such as Youth for Seva, Selco Foundation and The Forward Foundation. Vikshut has been working in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) space for a little over a year now. He has co-founded a drone technology services start up called HUVIAiR Technologies through which he is exploring the possibilities of using drone technology in the developmental space. He is also currently working as Business Development Head - India for Airzaar India, a drone data processing, visualization and analytics platform.
He brings to the table an invaluable combination of technology & its utilization in the social space. Mythri Speaks is indebted to Vikshut for his timely advise and support on all technological requirements.
Neethu Peter is a mechanical engineer by qualification. She has worked in Caterpillar Logisticis Solutions for 3 years, following which she explored work in the social space, by joining NGOs such as Deeksha, Saahas, Youth for Seva and The Forward Foundation.
She has done extensive ground work on waste management across 44 wards in Bengaluru, as Project Coordinator with The Forward Foundation. Her passion for meeting new people and her keenness to work on ground makes her an important part of our team.
She is currently working with Bal Utsav as Program Officer, and volunteers with Mythri Speaks as Communications Executive.
Sravanthi Murali is a Computer Science Engineer, with a passion for Geoinformatics and Environmental issues. Naturally, she combined the two during her work on Solid Waste Management with The Forward Foundation. Prior to that, she worked for 2.5 years with L & T Infotech.
At present, she is pursuing her MSc in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation with specialization in Geoinformatics, at the University of TwenteMasters at Netherlands.
She has been associated with Mythri Speaks in putting together the necessary spatial data, GIS maps and analyzing remote sensing information for surface water bodies. We are indeed glad that we have her on board as our Technical Consultant.
Trustee & Treasurer
Vyjayanthi Krishnamurthy took voluntary retirement after 25 years of working as a banker, and has dedicated her free time to social work since then. For those in need of counselling or medical support, Vyjayanthi is often just a phone call away, ready to offer her unconditional support!
She and Sinu travelled and worked together in imparting awareness on menstrual health across rural India. She has undertaken more than a 100 sessions for adolescent girls on menstrual & reproductive health. Currently, she volunteers with Youth for Seva’s healthcare initiative and is a volunteer counsellor in government schools.
Mythri Speaks is privileged to have Vyjayanthi on board as a Treasurer and Trustee.
Udaya Bhaskar, is an architect by training. He left his professional career to work in the developmental space 7 years ago. He worked for 4 years with Youth for Seva on Volunteer Development. Following this, he led the Solid Waste Management initiative with The Forward Foundation. During this time, he worked closely with the Bengaluru Municipality and experts from Hannover University, in designing a Solid Waste Management Solution for Bengaluru West Zone.
As someone who shies away from being in the limelight, Bhaskar’s work in conceptualizing and heading crucial initiatives on Waste Management, Village Development and Bengaluru Vikasa has been known to but a few. Mythri Speaks is proud to have Udaya Bhaskar on board as one of its Trustees.
Sinu Joseph began work in the social space in 2009 and has been associated with various organizations and initiatives. She began her journey with Youth for Seva, where she worked for 4 years as Coordinator of Doctors for Seva and later, as Project Manager. Following this she worked with The Forward Foundation on Solid Waste Management for 2 years, while independently continuing her work on women’s health, especially menstruation.
She is an Engineer by qualification and chose to work in the social space. She has travelled extensively across rural India interacting with more than 17000 adolescent girls and women to really understand their practices and problems pertaining to menstruation, first hand. She has worked in over 50 villages in Karnataka alone. She believes in action learning and makes sure that our work is always grounded in the present reality. She is the Managing Trustee at Mythri Speaks.
